An RGBW driver ties the field together — color, twinkle, and fade all tunable — then the headliner goes back in, factory-tight.
No two headliners run the same pattern twice. Density, color temperature, and layout are set for each cab we touch.
There's always someone who'll quote it lower. Hot glue instead of silicone — fine until a hot Utah summer softens the bond and strands start sagging through the headliner. Fiber ends crammed in wherever they'll fit instead of mapped and measured. A driver that flickers instead of fades. It looks fine in the driveway — for a while.
We know because we're usually the ones who redo it. A good chunk of what comes through our shop is a headliner someone already paid for once, torn back out because the fiber started dropping or the pattern never looked right to begin with. By the time it's fixed, "cheaper" rarely was.
